Discover the beauty of the sea and take part in various activities such as swimming, exploring marine life or cataloguing tropical fish with this new Touch! Generations title. The beauty of Endless Ocean is that you can do as much or as little as you like. The relaxed and calm atmosphere of the game gives you the freedom to explore special locations such as shipwrecks and underwater ruins, discover and interact with sea-life, complete fish logs or simply relax in the soothing environment. The game begins with you onboard a diving boat, with a crewmember that provides advice and tips on finding the best locations for fish and helps you advance the storyline. Assume the role of the diver, opting to go into the water to explore sea-life at your own pace utilizing tools such as a camera or fish bait. In the cabin on the boat, you can access the fish log to check out the fish that have been spotted, as well as carry out missions like photographing marine life. These missions unlock content, such as new items to use underwater, or different diving gear that can be used to customize your diver. Navigate through the depths using the Wii remote and guide your character using the pointers cursor, visible as a bright blue dot. Interact with fish or plants and discover new species while building up your fish log. Befriend companions like a dolphin which will become your partner and with whom you can train and swim with. The Wiis unique Wi-Fi Connection Service allows players link up with your friends. By exchanging friend codes, two players may dive and explore the ocean together.
Looking to kick back and relax? Endless Ocean features several soothing modes. On the deck of the boat is a deckchair that allows you to sit and watch the sea. Alternatively in the aquarium section of the game, you can select fish they have seen and add them in an aquarium for a closer inspection. The relaxed setting is further heightened with a

Customer ReviewsFantastic interactive educational game.

Endless Ocean is an excellent educational game for folks that may never make a dive in the deep. The graphics are pretty good and the opportunities are "endless". For $20 - $30 this game will last for hours.
The only reason to buy a Wii

This game was the sole reason we purchased the Wii. After seeing it at a friends house(and now diving with them over the internet!) we had to get this game. I wish my boyfriend and I could dive together (especially since whoever gets to the Wii first gets to play Endless Ocean!). The best part is how our friends five year old gets to invite his Uncle onto the boat and lead dives...basically be in charge! Ive ordered all my friends to get this game it is the best way to relax and have fun! If you have kids, this is the best non-violent adventure game there is (and it secretly teaches you too!). If your friendly and nice to your ocean friends you will soon find yourself riding a whale to an ancient city and making dive buddies with dolphins! Our real-life scuba friends say this is the closest you will get to diving (press 2 to see in first person) while staying dry!

I have four girls ages 9-14. I thought they would enjoy this game. They each played it about once, but quickly became bored with the repetition and seeing the same stuff over and over again. We were very disappointed after all the good reviews.
New Relaxation Technique!

This game is really fun! You get to explore many places you never thought your eyes would see! This game is very relaxing, too! The music soothes your mind and soul and its the ultimate getaway from your stressful life! (If you have one). I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to sit back and relax! Enjoy gamers!

My 8-year-old and 10-year-old love this game - and I appreciate a break from fighting and blowing things up! The only down side for younger players is that there are lots of things to read, and so non-readers or even slow readers like my 8-year-old need some help.
I think its especially neat that the animals act like real animals - sometimes they will stick around and sometimes they wont - you can "feed" them to try to get them to stay.
Kids can learn lots of interesting facts about sea life playing this game, if they bother to read the facts.
