Plenty of Imaginative Action
The pirates have plenty to do, thanks to special "action points" all over the ship. Your child can simply place a pirate on one of the ships five special areas, turn the figure, and watch the action! The pirates can lower the ships sails, drop the anchor, and fire the three hidden cannons. Two pirates can even fight a duel, and the captain can extend the plank for some unlucky soul to walk.
Built Tough for Adventurous Journeys
Like all Fisher Price toys, the Adventures Pirate Ship is built tough, with larger pieces that are easier and safer for little hands to manipulate. It includes three pirates with interchangeable hats and swords, a treasure map, treasure chest filled with treasure, and a cannon that really works. Additional accessories are sold separately. Your child will have hours of fun entering an imaginary world of adventure. However, pirates should use this ship on an imaginary sea only -- its not built for use in real water. The pirate ship measures about 19 by 7.5 by 18.5 inches. It does not require any batteries.

This is by far the favorite Christmas toy ever. There is a lot to do with this ship besides carrying it around. It helps my 3 yr old grandson to create his own stories. Even superman, batman and superman-woman land and live on the ship.

The box came a bit damaged but the ship was intact. It would have been nice to include a few more pirates.

The ship looks great and drew a lot of excitement at first view. However, the cannons are very touchy and difficult to use when loaded on the ship. The figures do not stay put. For the cost, I would expect a little more precision in the cannon and easier location/attachment of the figures.

This was by far the most popular gift this holiday. Our 2 1/2 year old boy and 5 1/2 year old girl both LOVE playing with this pirate ship. It is well made and has lots of cool features. Even with tons of other new toys lying around, the kids want to play with this one. It comes with two pirates, so sharing is much easier. I highly recommend this one. Wish I could say that about so many other purchases!

My son recd this for his 3rd birthday. Was a huge hit with him. Ive never seen him spend so much time with one toy before. His attention and love for this toy continues 1 month later.
It came fully assembled in a big brown box - not fancy packaging - which was great. The other parts were assembled by my son immediately without any help from just looking at the black and white picture on the inserted guide. That easy!
The cannons that shoot are fun! And they cant hurt anyone. He got the matching whale from imaginex over christmas. And the water spouts out of the whale in the same way - like a little gun. There are many fun features to the boat. I like that there are rolling wheels deep in the bottom of the boat and whale so he can roll it around the kitchen floor like a big car almost. He holds the ships wheel as if driving it. The pirate figurines are excellent. The swords are easy to fit in their hands.
The toy is constructed well, is durable - doesnt fall apart like so many other toys. I think it will last a long time! It provides hours of good, imaginative playtime for my son. Im impressed!!! imaginex has excellent toys. I recommend them to any 3 - 6 year old. My older daughters (4 and 7) love to catch a free moment with these toys too. This is a great gift! Will be loved!
